History

In 1990, E. Patrick Franz launched Clairmont, Ltd., of Hinsdale - a contracting firm specializing in custom home building and renovation, with services covering a broad spectrum of contracting options, from extensive remodels, to entire additions.

Working closely with Pat Franz is Trish Wojcik, his Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Wojcik’s industry related activities include a State of Michigan gubernatorial appointment to the board of Professional Land Surveyors. Wojcik held this post for six years. Wojcik worked closely through the Surveyors board with the other Professionals Boards that are responsible for overseeing industry standards governing Builders, Engineers, and Architects to ensure ethical business practices, and the enforcement of State laws for the protection of the general public. Her efforts helped insure residents of the State of Michigan a place to turn when problems arose during the course of transactions involving professionals in our industry. Wojcik also served two terms as a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Women in Construction (Lansing Chapter #177).

Wojcik is an active member of the National Home Builders Association. Providing her a network of industry professionals to collaborate with on building related issues. Wojcik also holds a Residential Builders, Maintenance and Alteration Contractors Board Salespersons License. This is a requirement for building professionals working in the State of Michigan. Wojcik has twenty years experience in the building industry, ten years in Michigan and ten years here in Illinois.
